Debbie's work covers a variety of mediums and her work is inspired primarily by the landscape that surrounds her.  She has lived all her life in the South Coast of England and her Studio is located in Steyning, West Sussex. She has a Masters in art from Kingston University.

The majority of her work is developed through vast sketching and photography which initiates and influences the piece. The outcome is a work that is more of an evocative, emotional response as opposed to a literal representation of a landscape. Employing both muted pallets and vibrancy of colour, she captures the atmospheric quality of time and place.

Sustainability and environmental concerns are key themes that she continually returns to. Through her work she hopes to provoke a dialogue about our relationship to the environment.
